Red - 77 Fiction

Note:- 77 Fiction infers to fictional writings bounded to a maximum of 77 words.

Red

Though the Maoists and the Indian Government claim to be honest and persuasive regarding the negotiations on peace talks , the much needed rapport building measures between them are at a low ebb now, leading to the possibility of a civil war.

Since Independence, the  Government has used it's military more to manage internal unrest than to defend external forces.

Am not sure about Naxalism, but exploitation of  Tribals and Forests for mining is not a random phenomenon.

Strong words laced with much needed cynicism about Government's action and policies.

This was a fresh post. Usually 3WW has fiction or poetry.

This was a well done commentary.

@ Neha...
yea, it is really worth considering :)

@Vivek,
Thanks for the feedback buddy...and we have a huge pile up of policies which need something more than cynicism and writings :) :)

@ Tumblewords,
Thanks for the pat and the response:).

@ Nethra..
Great observation buddy....
Finally it took you to say the word. am glad you said it.
Yessss.....it is not at all fiction. It is one of the most cruel and brutal exploitations. And for the society it hardly matters whether it is fiction or not... and i wanted it in that way, i mean, with a pinch of sarcasm and cynicism in labeling it and it did it for my earlier posts too.....Thanks for identifying it buddy

Yea, your pat do makes the difference. Thanks a lot for your constant encouragement and supporting wisdomism for the social issues.

@ Geeta,
Yea, i do have certain priorities in writing and it gets reflected in most of my posts, irrespective of the external expectations and required toppings...

reg ur post on Venkamma, is she a real person , or fictional ?

Mahesh Aadhya Kalal said...

@ Deepa,
hi, welcome to wisdomism..
You are correct . Thanks a lot for asking so.
It is not a fiction.
Not only this all the social issues i write are not fictions in realistic sense.
If i add an imaginative and generalized name to the story it becomes a fiction (like venkatamma's). If we just say the issue without a fictional name, it becomes non fiction.

It is deliberate move to label it as a fiction to symbolize that so called elite educated society has been blinded by consumerist life so much that every pain and injustice seems to be a fiction. So, it was my take in a irrational and indirect sarcastic way :)

For me the categories of writings are means to reach the end rather than becoming an end in itself.

Thanks again for enabling me to elaborate with your valid and rational question....:) :)

PS: Venkatamma may be a fiction but there are many venkatammas in our country around us.

@ deepa,
I would like to do a fresh full version post on the topic of naxals and tribals....
till then just think the fact why the red corridor of naxalism has spreaded in forests and tribal habitats of india...
Why do tribals support naxals?
Why naxalism ?

Thanks a lot for questioning....You are most welcome with more questions, criticism and feedback:) :) :)
