Combat - 55 Fiction

Note:- 55 Fiction infers to fictional writings bounded to a maximum of fifty-five words.

 Combat

We want to break the chains of Untouchability, Corruption, Caste-ism, Injustice, Exploitation, Domination, Capitalism, Monopoly, Inequality, Poverty....

We write and read inspiring articles and innumerable blogs...

We discuss problems, criticize solutions and frame our opinions...

Thats it...

Someone had walked his talk to break everything by just breaking the Salt Law, 80 years ago, at Dandi.

Notes :
1. "....to kill for freedom will legitimise killing after freedom"
2. Gandhiji said: “Next to air and water, salt is perhaps the greatest necessity of life.”
3. To know more, read Dandi March
4. April 6, 2010 commemorates the 80th anniversary of Dandi March by Gandhi.

@ Neha,,,
Yea....we need steps, substantial and rational steps in the right direction and radical actions to make the much needful difference. Thanks buddy.

@ Shilpa Garg...
Yes, we indeed need actions, in all spheres, in all aspects and from all sections. Thanks for the pat.

@ Nethra...
Gandhi is one of the biggest inspiration who is adept at bringing changes in the society with a vision. Unfortunately he is restricted to words. Thanks for the response buddy.

Thats why HE is GANDHI.
Becoming a GANDHI is not a joke.
We still just make statements, discuss problems etc .. etc.. but HE shown those in actions.

JAI HIND!!!

Mahesh, I do not understand one thing about this 55 Fiction.. instead of adding notes, explanations.. why don't people write a full post? Sorry, may be I am bit old fashioned..:)

@ Aativas...
Interesting point. Thanks a lot for the initiation.

It is not about old/new fashion, it is about adaptation, choice, time factor and compatibility. Change and evolution are inevitable things.

Notes is only to evoke further interest into the topic and hence i give external links for readers who want to dwell deeper into the topic. In notes i present certain facts/numbers where my interpretation is void where as in post i opine, interpret, analyse, synthesis, discuss things.

In my experience not everyone can read lengthy articles in this faster pace of rat race(most of my non-blogging friends evade my lengthy articles and prefer shorter ones, due to their job obligations). So compatibility factor.

The advantage of 55ier is that i can convey a message in lesser words. In this faster pace of the world it gives me an advantage to consume less time of certain readers. Simultaneously, i do write lengthy ones to satiate my writing thirst.

I opine shorter versions have their unique space, impact and treatment. It requires skills to fit a story into 55 words. For me, it do enhances my abstraction and narration skills.

Someone also asked me "Why do you write such lengthy posts?" . So, the perception and perspective changes from reader to reader depending upon their personal time, interest and taste.

As Somerset Maugham said "There are three rules for writing. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are".

'There is no one best way to write'.
Writing is ant art and an art do stretches beyond horizons. Art cannot be morphed by rules.

It is all about personal space and individual discretion and priority.
For me , Blogging and writing are not an end in themselves, but they are means to reach one's end . I cannot compartmentalise types of fiction, rather i use their genuine factors to suit my intentions and convenience.
Since last month, I am more into shorter versions because of my exam schedule in May.

Now, this is my opinion and i wont claim that this is the correct version. There are as many versions as the number of writers/Bloggers.

Feel free to differ as Wisdomism welcomes rationality and objectivity. Thanks again.

PS : I may end up writing a post on this topic. Lemmi gauge.
